The Shiatsu Foundation Program builds a strong base for traditional Shiatsu skills. It encourages the students own personal development while deepening awareness of the body's healing and regenerative energy.

The Practitioner Program provides advanced bodywork studies which are designed to bring students to excellence in their practice. There is also an advanced post-graduate program of study in Shin-Tai Life Force Recovery.

This program (Shin Tai) is open to bodyworkers who have completed at least 300 hours of bodywork study as well as to healing professionals and therapists of other disciplines .

Upon completion of the Foundation and Practitioner levels, students can receive their bodywork Diploma. Students are then eligible to become Associate Members of the American Oriental Bodywork Therapy Association (AOBTA).

The Central Channel Release

This technique identifies specific stress patterns in the body. These are patterns that give the body/mind inaccurate information which then causes a variety of life discomforts. Releasing stress patterns is essential for recovering life force which has become unavailable through physical, emotional and psychological trauma. Chakras and Body Balancing

The chakras are energy centers that affect the human system in many ways. They also interact directly with the acupuncture meridians and the body structure. Under the right conditions, chakra work can be a very powerful treatment tool. The workshop shows how to create the client response necessary for effective use of the chakras.

Learn to treat the fascia system and increase treatment results! Fascia is one of the most important aspects of the body. It affects posture, organ function and impacts the emotions/perception. Research shows that fascia can hold memory of negative experiences. It also influences the flow of the acupuncture meridians and effects the body’s interaction with other important energies.

Emotions and the Body

Unresolved emotional stress can cause restrictions within the body and interfere with energy flow. It can cause postural problems and dysfunction of the organs. In releasing emotional holdings of the body, the client experiences a gradual return to enthusiastic and creative living. This course shows you how to identify the time period when the most important restriction occurred, and locate the body area where it is held. You will learn specific and creative processes for freeing the clients’ system.
